Eddie ‘The Beast’ Hall has competed in The World’s Strongest Man competition four times and packs a serious punch at a humongous 28.3 stone but what does the man mountain eat on a daily basis to keep up his frame?
Consuming a staggering 10,000 calories a day his bulking starts before breakfast as he knocks back 2 scoops of Dynamo gainer with full fat milk followed by a cup of green tea with a spoonful of coconut oil.
Breakfast is a ‘high dose of carbs’ consisting of 100g of dry porridge oats with milk and strawberry jam, a piece of fresh fruit which is usually a banana and 250ml of his favourite Greek yoghurt all washed down with a DynaPro lean protein shake. If that wasn’t enough to keep hunger at bay, a mid-morning snack is usually 2 pieces of toast with peanut butter which the champ likes to call ‘mid protein, mid carb heavy’.
Lunch is 300g of lean chicken or steak accompanied by 300g of brown rice or pasta, 200g of fresh, steamed vegetables and a DynaBar to follow for dessert.
Hall guzzles down litres of water throughout the day to stay hydrated but isn’t shy of drinking energy drinks too to keep his power levels up until dinner time, where he really goes to town!
His last meal of the daily is usually something like his favourite spaghetti bolognese which contains 300g of lean mince, 300g of brown or wholewheat pasta and 200g of fresh vegetables washed down with more water. Beast by name, beast by nature!
